Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of easyoutlook ("the Service"). By creating an account, connecting a mailbox, or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
- You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and any activity performed under your account.
- You may only connect mailboxes that you own or have explicit authorization to access.
2. The service
easyoutlook is a hosted IMAP aggregator. We connect to your configured email accounts using credentials you provide and cache message metadata locally so you can search, filter, and read across mailboxes from one interface.
- We don't guarantee uninterrupted operation — IMAP providers can rate-limit, deprecate APIs, or block our requests at any time, and outages on our infrastructure may interrupt sync.
- Message metadata is cached for performance; message bodies are fetched on-demand from your IMAP server when you open them. We're not your archive of record.
- We may change feature availability, pricing, or limits with reasonable notice.
3. Plans, billing & refunds
The Service operates on a prepaid balance model funded by crypto deposits via OxaPay:
- You add funds to your account balance by paying via OxaPay. Once a deposit is confirmed on-chain, the equivalent USD credit is added to your balance.
- Subscriptions (Pro, Business) deduct a fixed monthly fee from your balance at the time of purchase. Plans run for 30 days from the purchase date.
- Subscriptions don't auto-renew. You must manually re-purchase before expiry to maintain your plan; otherwise your account will downgrade to the Free tier (with corresponding lower mailbox limits and slower auto-sync cadence). Existing data is retained on downgrade.
- Plan switches mid-cycle aren't prorated. Switching plans (e.g., Pro → Business) cancels the current subscription with no refund of the unused portion and starts a fresh 30-day cycle on the new plan.
- Refunds: all sales are final by default. We'll consider refund requests for unused balance or unused subscription periods on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Crypto refunds are processed back to the originating wallet, less any provider fees.
- Cap and cadence values shown in-app at purchase time are authoritative for that purchase even if we adjust the public pricing page later.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email, run phishing campaigns, or violate any anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc).
- Connect mailboxes you don't have authorization to access, or use the Service to facilitate unauthorized access to third-party accounts.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at abusive rates, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, mailbox caps, or security controls.
- Resell access to the Service without an explicit written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in any of the above with no refund.
5. Your data
See our Privacy Policy for full details. Summary:
- Mailbox credentials (passwords, OAuth tokens) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with a server-held key.
- Message metadata (sender, subject, date, snippet) is cached locally to power search and filtering.
- Message bodies are not stored long-term; they're fetched from your IMAP server when you open a message.
- Account deletion removes your profile, mailboxes, and message cache. Financial records (orders, transactions, subscriptions) are retained in anonymized form for accounting / compliance.
6. Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't warrant that sync will be timely, that messages won't be missed, or that your IMAP provider will continue to support our access method.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption) even if advised of the possibility.
8. Termination
- You may close your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse our infrastructure, or are inactive for extended periods (12+ months).
- On termination, your access to the Service ends. Sections 5–7 and 9 survive termination.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and/or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
